Pepper Chilli Trinidad Scorpion (BEYOND HOT)
Confirmed as the hottest pepper in the world by New Mexico State University, the Trinidad Scorpion has been described by some as giving a “high” when ingested. To give you an idea of its heat kick, it isn’t far off from pepper spray, so there’ll likely be some tears and possible blinding involved in this fiery experience. Sounds like a challenge!
In the early seconds after your first bite, you’ll detect a pleasant and tender fruit-like flavour, and when ground up and allowed to ferment in a salt brine, it becomes a great pepper mash. Use extreme caution when handling these fruits and warn children of the dangers of these super, super hot peppers, because we don’t condone the maiming of friends for entertainment value.
