Pepper Chilli Shishito
With its tip looking like a lion head, the Shishito adds a touch of whimsy to your garden. And with whimsy comes mystery – described as a “sometimes hot” pepper, this slender, thin-walled fruit plays a game of chance with your taste buds.
It’s a delightful surprise to occasionally encounter an extra spicy Shishito pepper, but don’t expect a blaze of heat. Even the hottest among them are quite mild. Offering a fresh peppery flavour, they’re ready to be skewered and broiled or enjoyed raw in a salad or as a zesty condiment.
