Pumpkin Wee Be Little
The name says it all. This tiny, bright orange pumpkin is smooth-skinned, the size of a large cricket ball and the sweetest in the patch. A Wee Be Little crop is ready for harvest when the pumpkins turn vividly orange and develop dark brown stems.
Flavour comes in small packages. These mini pumpkins are ideal for small families, and are excellent when hollowed out, stuffed and baked. They also make a perfect serving bowl for custards, curries and soups, because a bowl you can eat is the best kind of bowl.
Sow in spring and summer, min temp 20C
Sow in full sun: 2-3 plants per container or 40 x 40cm in the ground
Seeds will germinate in 10-14 days: sow 2-3 seeds together and spread 30-40cm
Harvest in 90-100 days
